May 2017 Tsum Tsum Subscription Box - Spoilers!

We got our May 2017 Disney Store Tsum Tsum Subscription Box! We are very happy with the outcome. I noticed a few blogs kind of upset with this month's box. I only see it fitting for a certain anniversary that happened this month for a very special movie! Check out our video and see who we got!

Toy Review: Captain Underpants The First Epic Movie Toys

Tra-la-laaaaaa!!!!! Who is totally ready to see the movie Captain Underpants?! We cannot wait! We love watching the Captain Underpants movie preview over and over! And now, Toys R Us has a bunch of cool toys for sale made by JUST PLAY - we bought talking bean bag plushies, a prank set, and a talking toilet! 



Harold, George, Professor Poopy Pants, and Captain Underpants are the talking plushies available. The talking dolls are a nice addition to your collection, because they say a bunch of phrases for each character. Professor Poopy Pants has the best phrases!



The Prankster set includes four pranks: 3D HYPNO RING that lights up and has the ability to hypnotize your nemesis. Wear your ring and press the button to watch it light up! The center has a swirly nipnotic image on it, which is a lenticular which warps the image to make it seem like it is moving! Pretty cool! You'll get  your own pair of underpants - just add water and like a magic towel, your underpants will appear, a joke pen that shoots water up to 15ft., and the best part — poop putty that looks like real poop! With the poop putty, you’ll be able to leave logs of surprises all over the place! 



We really had a lot of fun with the talking toilet! It “says” a lot of funny and silly sounds like fart noises, toilet flushing, gagging noises, and more! 



Overall we had a blast with the toys. The only things we did not like were that the underpants was just a washcloth like a magic towel, and talking toilet just talked. The arms barely moved on the toilet, and the eyes didn't movie - for the very low price of $7.99 though the price is right!

New York Event: Disney Pixars Cars 3 Road to the Races Event at Atlas Park

We attended the Disney Pixar Cars 3 event in New York at Atlas Park! Atlas Park is a fun outdoor shopping mall with cool shops, a movie theater, and restaurants. It’s a great place for kids because of high security. The event took place in their outdoor parking lot, and there we met Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez, and Jackson Storm! Unfortunately, the weather was very bad; it was raining and windy. There were flooding conditions through the area, and we barely made it to the event! We persevered and got there to find a ghost town! There were a few other brave families at the event weathering the storm. 

There were interactive booths there that were not functioning because of the bad weather and lack of electricity. The Mattel booth where they had a bunch of old Mattel die-cast vehicles and older story sets to look at (not very fun). However, they were able to get the booth table dry enough to hold some “races.” Another booth there was the Dole booth where they gave out recipe cards featuring characters from the movie. I believe that there should have been some kind of refreshments served at the booth, but they only had the recipe cards. There was also a MAC truck there with a full movie theater! This theater was awesome! We watched a 16 minute short about the making of Disney Pixar’s Cars 3, and enjoyed a sneak peek of the film featuring a scene of Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez readying to race The Crazy Eight race! That scene definitely made us want to see more, and look forward to the Cars 3 movie even more! Three other booths - the Alamo booth, Coppertone booth, and Crest*Oral Bbooth were not functioning due to the inclement weather. Even so, we had a wonderful time, and our son really had a blast! 

Cars 3 opens in theaters June 16, 2017, and may mark the end of Lightning McQueen’s reign as the top racer in the country, but it also leaves room for a bigger story with his trainer/student, Cruz Ramirez. Cruz was sporting some sweet Dinoco stickers on her car at the event, so we can only surmise that McQueen trained her like Doc Hudson trained him. Maybe Cruz got the Dinoco deal that McQueen never took? Only time will tell, and watching the movie, too, of course!

Our representation of this event does not reflect the event as a whole, New York had terrible weather on May 5, 2017, so all of their little sponsored booths were compromised. Otherwise, we had an amazing time and had so much fun meeting the life-size stars of Cars 3!

Toy Review: Disney Pixar Cars 3 Movie Toys Mac Toy Review, Diecast Vehicles, Jackson...

Today we unboxed the new Disney Pixar Cars 3 toys by Mattel. We have the Travel Time Mac play set that features a removable cab for when Mac isn’t hauling Lightning McQueen, launching Luigi vehicle. Guido is also included, but he is there to launch the vehicles, you cannot remove Guido from the truck. 


This set connects to other Disney Pixar Cars Story Sets - in our video, we connected Mac to our Escape from Frank Playset, and we were able to launch and load our Disney Pixar Cars vehicles with the ramp! I think that is a wonderful feature! Hopefully, many of you still have your story sets. 


The Travel Time Mac playset retails for $19.99 at Toys R Us, and is for ages four and up. This set was perfect for my 3.5-year-old son. As soon as we were done unboxing, he dove right in his imaginative side and enjoyed hours of play!


We also opened up two single cars packs with Cars 3 Lightning McQueen and Jackson, and one 2-packwith Sterling and Cruz Ramirez. The single packs are $4.99 and the 2-packs are $9.99. The individual cars can be launched with the Mac Travel Time set. 


Mac also brought us six Cars 3 blind bags by The Thinking Toy to open up, which were $2.99 each! 


Overall, as a mother, I think the Mac Travel Time set is a great deal! Right now, Toys R Us has a special BOGO offer where you can get the latest Cars 3 toys at BOGO 40% off! Double that deal on a Thursday and get an additional 10% off!

Disney TSUM TSUM Tsparkle Tsurprise SERIES 6 FULL CASE OPENING 3-pack Gl...

Series 6 Disney Tsum Tsum vinyl 3-packs by JAKKS PACIFIC have arrived in stores! We picked up a full case from Toys R Us - there are 24 pieces in each carton. However, there were seven duplicate 3-packs in this particular carton. I did not open the duplicates in this video, and have saved a select few for our next huge TSUM TSUM give away!

Series 6 vinyl tsums are absolutely amazing! Jakks Pacific released some favorites within their new TSPARKLE TSURPRISE line with all over glitter on each tsum. We did notice the addition of a large HAMM from TOY STORY with the sparkles. However, the regular series 6 release does not include a large HAMM. Very curious, indeed! 

With the addition of the three packs that were released, we also purchased the series 6 tsum tsum blind bags, which will follow in another video. Jakks Pacific, can you help us out for series 7 tsum tsums, please?! Haha!
