Snapsies are more than just unwrapping and snapping - they are characters of cuteness and just plain funny with their expressions and switchable parts! Now the lines are expanding to become a whole brigade of cuteness with the announcement of Funko Snapies™ Series 2 and Snapies™ GEMS! My favorite is Merci Grey who is an adorable mime!
Adorably cute Funko Snapies™are adding new friends to the wildly popular 2021 NAPPA Award-winning toy line on August 1, 2021. Just in time for the holiday season, Funko Snapies™will branch off to a new collection called Snapies™GEMS will add some glitz to your display cases on October 1, 2021.
Funko Snapies™were a huge hit back at Toy Fair New York 2020, and when they hit the shelves first at Target in early December 2020, these adorable and snappy mash ups of adorable animal characters whose faces, accessories, even their butts can be mixed and matched to create even more adorable combinations!
For Series 2, Snapies™new a French Bulldogs, Alicorns (a mix of a Unicorn and a Pegasus), Leopards, Skunks, and Koalas will join the checklist. Each surprise capsule includes one head, one body, two butts, two faces, five accessories, one sticker sheet, and one checklist. Series 2 will be available in stores at Target and GameStop, and online at Target.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and Funko.com (MSRP: $9.99).
New for the holidays, Snapies™ GEMS will have that same mix and match vibes at their super cool predecessor but with a bit of a Funko twist! Featuring dazzling finishes, each seasonal-themed character will have their own bit of sparkly magic like Ivy Shimmer has crystal teal antlers! Sugarplum Sparkle is head to toe blinged out with faceted horns and tail, shimmery and sparkly accessories, and even what looks to be a translucent glitter body. Collect more cutesie characters like Snowflake Glitz (she looks like a Winter Queen), and Jewel Lustrebelly (she looks rare!).
I find the new Snapies™ collections to be really imaginative and playful, and just a great starter collection for people just getting into Funko collecting.
