Why should I take my kids to see Disney On Ice?

When I was a little girl, my parents took me to my first Disney On Ice show. I was in fifth grade, and still swooning over the magic of Beauty and the Beast. We never went to shows, and my mom. thought it would be a good idea to go. Do you know that even nearly 30 years later that the show still resonates with me? From the music and storytelling paired with the beauty of ice skating, acrobatics, and just pure talent of the performers really brings the magic of the show to a whole new level. I was 10 when I went, and I will be 40 this year. Let that sink in! We took our sons for the first time in November to see Disney On Ice Mickey's Search Party, and the show was fantastic from start to finish. Kids get to see Mickey and a whole cast of Disney and Pixar characters in their home town. It's the next best thing to a Disney vacation at a huge fraction of the cost!

Not only are there souvenirs take home, but you can also take souvenir photos!

What Should I Bring to the Show?

Make sure you adhere to the venue's guidelines, especially the COVID-19 rules that are in effect. The experience alone should speak itself, but there is nothing like taking a little bit of the magic home! The souvenir stand has lots of merchandise that is pretty useful like cups, shirts, jewelry, and even light-ups for during the show! Check out my merch from Disney On Ice Beauty and the Beast from 30 years ago!

Budget-Friendly Ideas

There is a great selection of souvenirs at the show, but if you are on a budget, I highly recommend bring some lights up for your kiddos in advance. Check out my blog post for ways to save on Disney On Ice, or you can order these cool Snowflake Light-Up Wands that are a 2-pack, or this Minnie Mouse Light-Up Bubble Wand for a fraction of the cost!

Have no plans for the weekend? Make some memories and experience the magic of Disney On Ice Let's Celebrate! It's going to be the party in town!
