Toy Review: Mickey and the Roadster Racers Mustard Run Play Set

We had so much fun with our latest toy review, we played with the Mickey and the Roadster Racers Mustard Run play set, and two additional die-cast vehicles featuring Mickey’s pals, Donald Duck Surfing’ Turf boat car and Goofy Turbo Tubster car - all made by Fisher-Price. The Mustard Run play set also comes with an exclusive Mickey Mouse hot dog die-cast vehicle.

The new toys from the new hit Disney Junior television show, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, are for kids ages three and up, and M-Tubey who is three years old himself had a great time playing with this play set! It was super easy to set up - under thirty seconds to snap together! The beauty of the play sets are that they interchange with one another to help make a huge collection of race tracks! The Mustard Run play set is so much fun! It features a mustard loop with mustard bottle launcher and the finish line is super cute! The vehicle will splash into a huge pile of relish! The theming of this set is appropriate to the town name, Hotdog Hills!

The play set is easy to set up, so your little one can enjoy it once you put it together! My son pulled back the launcher, placed the vehicle in front, and slammed the button down and watched his favorite Disney characters zoom through the 360-degree loop and splash into a pool of relish. Overall, we love this set and the die-cast vehicles, and cannot wait to get the remaining vehicles like Minnie Mouse and the other Mickey Mouse vehicles that we are missing. This collection also features figures and mini play sets for the figures.

You can find the Mustard Run play set at Target for $14.99, and vehicles and other accessories are sold separately. The additional die-cast vehicles we played with, Donald Duck and Goofy, are $4.99 each.

We also tested other vehicles with this set to see if we can enjoy some of our other die-cast vehicles - some did not work, and some did. It varied - Hot Wheels vehicles sometimes worked, and the Disney Cars vehicles worked half the time as well. The ones that did succeed the 360-degree loop got a toy surprise!

Since the Mickey and the Roadster Racers toys are made by Fisher-Price, you’re getting quality and the best bang for your buck!
