Nickelodeon Releases The Night Before Christmas with PAW-some Tales Just In Time for the Holidays

Now that Halloween is over, it is very easy for me to flip my pumpkin lid, and go from spooky to jolly! That's why I am so excited to share the new DVD release of Nickelodeon's The Night Before Christmas featuring holiday themed episodes from our Nick Jr. favorites like Paw Patrol, Bubble Guppies, Blues Clues, and more!  

We were sent an advance copy of the new Nickelodeon The Night Before Christmas DVD from Paramount Home Video with thanks! All opinions are my own! 

There was legitimate silence from my boys all nearly two hours while the DVD was on, so this DVD is a win-win in my book! My pre-schooler loves Bubble Guppies and Blaze and the Monster Machines the most, and my older son enjoys whatever keeps my youngest busy -- there will be peace throughout the land this holiday!

In case you're wondering about the name, Geminose, the animals literally have a gem for a nose allowing for a colorfully diverse collection of characters that look pleasing on-screen and during gameplay. The game is fun, entertaining, and really beautifully done. The songs are catchy and uplifting giving this game a real dose of humanity and is just full of love and togetherness. My kids really enjoy the part where you can decorate the room and when you earn coins by filling the room with furniture and other personal details.

Geminose: Animal Popstars is a great family game and will get kids moving! 

Using the joy-cons motion controls, players will have to move up and down, and side to side in order to complete the tasks in the minigames. Flip a pan or knead some dough during the cooking mini-game, collect musical notes a la Milon's Secret Castle by moving the paw print joy-con across the screen, follow the pitch of the music by raising the joy-con up or down and shimmy the joy-con to shake, etc. I like the rhythm aspect of the game - you don't necessarily have to move too aggressively, but this will promote kids to stand during the gameplay, and actually move their bodies in order to play.

Geminose: Animal Popstars is rich in the storyline and will keep kids entertained. I feel the game has a great value with an empowering message of diversity and is the perfect game for kids.
