Toy Review: Summer is FINALLY here! Little Tikes Sparkle Bay Flicker Fish & Toy Bag Organizer by Organization Boutique

It’s officially the start of summer, and I can finally Ziploc shut our winter coats. I felt like the summer was never going to come. Here in New York, the weather was just weird, for lack of a better word. It would be extremely hot one day, and bitter cold the next. Spring never “sprung” for us, and I was hesitant to take out the outside water toys in fear I may jinx the rest of the nation of ever having warm air hit the east coast again.

Alas, summer is upon us, and it is hot – brutally hot, now – never an in-between. To keep our active toddler amused, playing outside is the way to go. We live in a small apartment, and our “backyard” is open to the community courtyard where our playtime is on display for all of our neighbors to see. I have to be creative with our outside toys, so I look for things that are small, can be stored easily, and can be submerged in water.

Perusing the aisles at Target, I found the Little Tikes Sparkle Bay Flicker Fish bath toys. I was so excited to see that Little Tikes produced another line of interactive, motorized toys. We have the fountain that lights up, and it is honestly the best bath toy we have. Without hesitation, I bought the only two fish available, the Damsel Fish (blue) and the Angel Fish (purple).

Maintaining bath toys is another chore that I don’t have time to do. Have you ever squeezed your kids’ bath toy out? As a first time mom, I never even thought about what lurked inside. It was gross! Mold! My kid plays with that toy. In an effort to keep our collection of bath toys the same, and not go totally broke replacing squeeze toys. Once per week, I fill a bath of water and add a half a cup of bleach, and soak all of the toys at once. I then take each squeeze toy and “suck” in the bleach bath water, and let that sit for an hour. Next, I squeeze out the water and let the toys dry over night. I give the toys a good squeeze again, and put them away.

'Where do you put them?' You may be wondering. This is the million dollar bath question that I have been asking for nearly three years. I went through countless bath toy bags claiming that they stay attached to the wet tile wall. That’s a big N-O. They don’t. I did, however, find this amazing bath toy bag from a company called, Organization Boutique. I bought it off of Amazon.com; it was something ridiculously over priced at nearly $20, but it works, and that it was matters.

The bag is mesh, and allows me to put the toys in (sort of) wet, I let them air dry a bit first after a bath. You can hang the bag on your shower door handle, or if no shower door you can hang it on the shower head pipe (just make sure it's not too heavy). The bag also holds a lot of toys. I counted 18 squeeze toys (yeah, overkill is an understatement), and eight larger bath toys. There are even some stacking cups in there! For the price, it's worth it!

This is why I love the Little Tikes bath toys; they have a tight rubber seal inside the battery compartment. The batteries never get wet! In my experience with the Little Tikes Sparkle Bay Splash Fountain, that bath toy has been through toddler tsunamis, and it’s still going strong! I also have not experienced one bit of mold.

I reviewed the Little Tikes Sparkle Bay Flicker Fish on my channel today, and they worked great! The fish light up and flicker, their tales vibrate back and forth and they swim around with ease. The flicker fish are for ages three and up, and will provide a very happy bath time experience, and at least a solid hour of outdoor fun, too!

The Little Tikes Flicker Fish come in a variety of fun colors: an orange clownfish, a blue damsel fish, a purple angel fish, and a yellow puffer fish. I am on the hunt for the remaining two fish! The fish are available at Target and at Kmart. If you’re looking for other Little Tikes products, they’re offering a 10% off coupon code, use the coupon code: AMERICA. Too bad the flicker fish were not included in this promo! The Little Tikes Sparkle Bay Flicker Fish retail for $9.99, and if you purchase at Target and use your RedCard, get an additional 5% off! Not bad for a toy that will stand the tests of toddler bath time!

I don’t get paid for these reviews! I just love toys, and want to make sure my kid has the best toy experience and childhood he could ever have! Please feel free to share and comment your thoughts below!

Cheers!

Toy Review/Party Place Review: Build-a-Bear Workshop

We were invited to a birthday party at the Build-a-Bear Workshop. I was super excited about this party, not only because we love the kid whose birthday it was, and because they just released a Peppa Pig Build-a-Bear and Finding Dory themed Build-a-Bears.

No matter what day it is, the Build-a-Bear Workshop always seems to be busy. I am not at the mall often, but when I do go, it’s always on a weekday, and that store is always bustling. The Build-a-Bear Workshop is a magical place, kids and big kids at heart get to create their stuffed plush from start to finish, and the process makes each character come alive.

When you walk in the store, you’re greeted by a friendly face, and you’re directed to choose a character plush. There are so many characters to choose from now, it’s amazing! You can either get the actual character like Dory, Nemo, Peppa Pig, Star Wars characters, Pokémon characters, The Minions, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, My Little Pony, Care Bears, characters from Paw Patrol and more – just to name a few. There are also the regular line-up of bears in a variety of colors and prints where you can choose to dress up your bear like a Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, Captain America, Anna and Elsa from Frozen, and more.

They really make it hard to choose one character, which is why I think they have these great sales for 2 for $35, which just includes the plush doll, nothing else. It’s easy to spend at least $100 in that store. You can also purchase your Build-a-Bear plush character online without being stuffed, and then you can go into the store to have it stuffed. The 2 for $35 deal is also online by applying coupon code at checkout: JUNDEAL1. You can also purchase the clothes online as well, there is another coupon code that can be applied at checkout to get two select outfits for $20. Use code: JUNCLOTHES1 at checkout to take advantage of the 2 for $20 clothing deal.

At Build-a-Bear, not only do you have a choice in what your character wears, you can also choose to add sounds, fun add-ons and accessories! There are a variety of sounds to choose from – you can choose your character’s tag line, the specific theme song for your character, a hit song, or record your own voice to really personalize your bear. The character tag line sound usually includes four to five sayings, which is a good deal! The sounds range in price from $4 to $8. If you would like to add a custom scent to your Build-a-Bear, you can choose a variety of scents from the Build-a-Bear SCENTiments collection, and they are $3.50 each. I love the variety of scents, because they’re all yummy –I wouldn’t want my bear to smell like farts. You can choose Cotton Candy, Honey, Bubble Gum, Pizza, and more! Pizza for crying out loud – that’s wonderful!

Would you like to add a toy for your build-a-bear plush? How about a really nice pair of shoes? Build-a-Bear has a variety of cool and sort of useful accessories available. From slippers for Olaf, a stable for your Horses and Hearts Riding Club build-a-bear, or a heart lounge chair for your character to just relax on – there are so many possibilities.

The quality of the Build-a-Bear characters is very good. If your character comes apart at all, you can simply go into the store to have it repaired – as long as your name is in the system, you’ll be fine.

The process to build your bear is a bit long, in my opinion, but it’s not only a create-your- own-toy store, the store has entertainment value as well. There is an order of operations that has to be practiced from start to finish:

1.       Choose your plush.
2.       Choose your sound. (optional)
3.       Choose your scent. (optional)
4.       Add a complimentary heart .
5.       Fill your plush with the stuffing (you get to press the pedal! Don’t hit the red emergency stop button on the machine like my son. They don’t like that.)
6.       After stuffing, give your plush a bath in the interactive bathtub.
7.       Choose your outfit and accessories.

If the store is busy, you won’t be waiting too long. The lines move pretty quickly, and there is so much to look at so you and your little one won’t notice the time.

If you plan to have a party there, the range per person is $18 - $45 per guest depending on which package you choose.
  •   Super Smiles Package - $18 per guest
  •   Fantastic Fun Package - $25 per guest
  • Awesome Adventure Package - $35 per guest
  • Ultimate Experience Package - $45 per guest

This price does not include any food or snacks. There is no party room. You are really just paying for little ceremonies, games, and a full order character (plush, clothing, shoes, and a sound). The party is short and sweet - just an hour long. For a small party (minimum five kids to get the Party Leader to help wrangle the kids), it’s worth it, and then you can take the kids to the food court for lunch. Or you can make the party after lunch, and in between dinner, and include a little snack in the goody bag. Also, keeping the kids engaged was a task even for seasoned parents. At the party that we attended, the Party Leader was having a tough time wrangling the kids - the majority of the party were boys, so as a mom to an energetic boy, I wouldn't recommend that this be the only activity that you have for the day. Boys, kids in general, need to run, and since there is business as usual in the background of the party, it can be a little crazy. I think it would be great if they had a party room in the back of the store, so the kids can just chill out and eat.

If you’ve never been to a Build-a-Bear Workshop, I would recommend it. Just be prepared to spend some time and money there. It can get pricey, especially with more than two kids. To build Peppa Pig with a 3-piece Fairy Costume, one sound, and a toy for Peppa, I chose Teddy – it costs $72 online. That is a lot of money compared to just buying the Hug-n-Oink Peppa doll for about $18 at Toys R Us. It’s all for the experience, and the Limited Edition feature of the Build-a-Bear itself.

If you would like to build Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there are online coupon codes for these ninja reptiles!

2 for $40 – 2TMNT1
4 for $68 – 4TMNT1

Take a ride over there, and see what it’s all about!

Cheers, pals!

DIY Play Doh Elena from Avalor and Low View Counts!

I made a video with a Play-Doh egg surprise. If you have kids, you know what I'm talking about. Play-Doh egg surprise videos have a huge egg full of surprises (blind bags, mystery toys, and other small toys), and a specific character made of Play-Doh is attached to the outer portion of the egg. I decided I needed to do this, and I felt like I had a leg up with the idea of making an Elena of Avalor Play-Doh likeness. There were very few real Elena of Avalor YouTube videos. I say ‘real,’ it seems that many YouTube channels just included her name in their search tags, because when researching Elena of Avalor videos, a lot of videos came up, but only a handful mentioned Elena. The majority were Sofia the First of general Disney Princess videos.

Elena of Avalor will make her debut on the Disney Junior show, Sofia the First, on JuIy 22, 2016. Elena of Avalor will then become a spin off show of Sofia the First debuting August 1, 2016 on the Disney Channel. Elena of Avalor is the first Latina Disney Princess. Of course, she did not make her start in a Disney film; however, Disney is taking her role as the first Latina Princess seriously, which I applaud. We need diversity for children, especially strong, intelligent, and brave role models for children. Elena seems to have those qualities, as well as, her beauty. This summer 2016, she will even be making appearances at Disneyland in California, and later in the year, she will be making appearances at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

Back to my Play-Doh escapades, I don't think I created a bad likeness of Elena; I just really could have done better. It has some qualities like Elena, but not enough where you would say, “Oh, that’s Elena from Avalor.” I guess you would just say, “Oh, good job!” I have a lot to live up to with the other talented YouTube channels that create anything from Play-Doh. I'm not an artist, but I am pretty crafty, so I didn't think much of this idea at first. I figured that I would make the Play-Doh face, fill the egg, apply, and then film. It was a harder task than I believed it would be.

When you're making a Play-Doh likeness, mise en place is very important. I laid out my tools: one wood skewer, rolling pin, pizza slicer, butter knife, wax paper, and Play-Doh colors out on the table, and got to work. I quickly learned that my tools were totally wrong. I thought using my heavy duty rolling pin would be good, I was wrong. I thought using a butter knife, and a rolling pizza slicer would be good to cut, I was wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. I realize now, I needed a smaller rolling pin, and an exact-o knife. Using the wooden skewer was to help me "draw" each shape. It worked, of course, but it left my Play-Doh stringy at the ends, so I had to finely trim the edges, which is why the exact-o is so important.

Something that I was truly missing was the right colors. Elena of Avalor has a beautiful Hispanic chestnut skin tone with pink rosy cheeks. I couldn't even capture that. I should have been embarrassed to post it, but I really worked hard on it, which leaves me to my disappointment. Again, I thought this video was going to be the video that brings in more activity, but it's been over 12 hours and I've only got eight views. It saddens me. I'm trying so hard to get noticed, but it's not working. I feel like it's all been done before, and everyone who watches just sticks with their favorites and that's it. I need to stand out. But, how? I'll let you know when I find out.

Until next time, pals!

Cheers!

Toy Review: Double Deck Radio Flyer Classic Tricycle

We are in a new generation of bicycles for kids - ones without pedals and no drive train, where the kids can learn to balance and steer before they even put the training wheels on. I am an old school mom, though. I may be setting my son back a bit by not buying him a balance bike, but I also went him to enjoy the feeling of riding a tricycle like I did when I was that small.

When it was time to buy our boy's first trike, I went directly to the company who has been doing it for nearly 100 years, Radio Flyer! I purchased the Radio Flyer 12 inch Classic Tricycle from Toys R Us for $69.99, plus I had $15 rewards cash from Toys R Us Rewards to apply to my order. The savings were great!

The tricycle features a double deck step - where many kids use the steps to push the trike with their legs and glide around with ease. It also has the iconic chrome bell, and red and white streamers on the handle bars, which gives it a fun and classic look. There is not one bit of plastic used to assemble this trike (save for the screw covers on the wheels). The paint is a shiny Radio Flyer red finish. The only drawback is the metal adjustable seat, I feel like it could have had some kind of rubber cover, but our boy doesn't seem to mind.

The biggest pluses of the Radio Flyer Classic Tricycle are its wheels; they're rubber tires - no plastic tires!! The sturdy handling features a controlled turning radius for added stability. The recommended ages for this tricycle are ages two to five. Our boy was 2.5 years old when we introduced it to him, he was excited, but didn't really care for it. Now, at nearly three years old, he travels around the house with it, and takes long rides every evening (under adult supervision, of course!).

I would highly recommend this training tricycle for your little one, especially, if you're into classic style, clean lines, charming design, and functionality for your little one to travel around the town. The Radio Flyer 12 inch Classic Tricycle has earned several awards, among them are the Parents Choice Classic Award, Parent's Guide to Children's Media Award,
and The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval, just to name a few.

Do your kids have this tricycle? Parents, what was your first

mode of transport? I owned this exact trike when I was a

kid!

Cheers!

Toy Review: Angry Birds Speedsters

Today I reviewed the new Angry Birds Speedsters by Rovio and SpinMaster - Red, Chuck, Terence, and Leonard the piggy. There are more figures, but I only purchased those four - for now. These little gliding figures are too cute! They glide with ease on any surface. They would even fair better on a nice ramp, or down a makeshift DIY ramp of books! Do kids do that anymore? I purchased these at Toys R Us in May at a very good price - all Angry Birds merchandise was buy one, get one 40% off - regular price is $2.99 retail. Not bad! This was a score, and I really should have purchased all of them, but I already had purchased these lovely chocolate surprise eggs on ebay that set me back $15 already, which I am bit peeved about.

I give this a Tubey Toys A+ recommended rating! It promotes creative and imaginative play! Your kids will love stacking up some blocks, or your their favorite toys and gliding these birdies into them!

Cheers!

Show ideas...?

Hey, pals! I need some show ideas! I have an idea for a show, but it will require me to get some toys from different countries. If anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it!

I am looking for toys from Europe, Asia, Australia, South America. If you can donate, I'll pay it forward and give you a shout out, and send you some US toys (which are few, I know!)! I just cannot find these things online!

Thank you!

Message me at tubeytoys@gmail.com, or DM me through twitter @tubey_toys.

Toy Review: Disney/Pixar Finding Dory Mystery Minis Figures

We opened up an awesome case of blind boxes today on our channel - a full case of Finding Dory Disney Mystery Minis! The haul was great, but I don't want to give away the surprise! Check out the video here

There are 15 Disney Mystery Minis to collect in all, which is great! However, you only get 12 (I repeat, 12) per case, which is pretty lame. You don't even raise your chances of getting a whole set. I will tell you that we did get doubles, which made the blind box opening a tad bit disappointing - only to bring the excitement meter back up when we unboxed a rare character. You tell me what it is in the comments below. Hint: It wasn't Destiny. M-Tubey was a little bummed. I bought this case from Amazon, and it was $20 off and was a big saving compared to buying one-offs.

Did you get your hands on any Finding Dory Mystery Minis yet? We are super excited to see the movie! This has been a long time coming! I wasn't even married when it came out! I think I had just gotten engaged as a matter of fact. It's going to be so great to watch it with our little guy!

Let me know what you think of the video and our toy haul!

Fear of my own YouTube channel...

When I made my first video, and I so afraid to publish it on youtube. Editing is something I am familiar with already, but my voice is not even recognizable to myself. I sound like my third grade self standing on stage at my Elementary school, where I had literally one line for the school play. I remember staring at the clock at the back of the auditorium, and reciting my one line. After it was over, the actors for the next scene were already on the stage, and I was still there on stage just staring at that clock. You are your own worst enemy when it comes to fear.

...

I posted it. Terrified. The video quality was horrific, as well as the sound. It was disappointing, and I felt like I even failed YouTube. I am now on my 32nd video! 32 videos! More than a day of my life has been dedicated to just editing these videos, and the view counts are low. The response is positive, but I feel like other YouTubers are being extra nice. There are just so many awesome channels out there - FunToyzCollector, Fizzy Toy Show, HobbyKidsTV - the competition is fierce!

I hope to rise, and be on the same level with these channels.

In the end, my fears were me. My insecurities. But, I absolutely LOVE toys! I have been collecting since I was a very young girl, Barbies mostly. Then I branched out into comic books, The Simpsons figures, Pokemon, trading cards, etc. I want to share what I love with everyone!

How was your first YouTube video? Was it as bad mine-check it out here

Cheers!

Toy Review: Disney/Pixar Finding Dory Coffee Pot Playset

The Finding Dory Coffee Pot Play Set made by Zuru Inc is something that I think all fans of the film should have in their collection, ages four and up! The retail price varies from $15.99 to $19.99 depending on where you shop (Toys R Us currently has a sale for $15.99 right now!). At $19.99, it's really not a good price point, but as a birthday gift for a child, it is a great deal. This set can be played with inside and outside of the home. We took this set outside to play with on a beautiful, sunny day, and we had a ball! We also tested this toy on our YouTube channel, you can check out the video here

We added in some Finding Dory blind bag figures, Crush and the Hermit Crab. The toy included with the playset is a water activated Finding Dory, Dory figure. You can also purchase two additional water activated figures to go along with this set, Nemo and Marlin. There is another figure advertised on the back, Bailey the beluga whale, but Bailey is too big for the coffee pot. You can put Bailey in the bath or in a play pool.

This coffee pot is fashioned after an older model coffee pot. Just fill it up with water, and drop the fishies and they'll "just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
The Finding Dory Coffee Pot play set promotes imaginative play and will expand on their fine motor skills. Each Finding Dory figures includes an extra set of button cell batteries! Each figure already comes with batteries installed, and they included an extra set of batteries for you! That's at least $12 savings for each figure. This toy is definitely on the Tubey Toy list for A+ recommended for fun, educational value, and a great addition to your Finding Dory and Finding Nemo collections!

If you have this set, what do you think of this toy?

Cheers!

Toy Review: Finding Dory Swigglefish by Bandai

Lately, I have been incorporating a lot of Finding Dory toys in my videos. I was able to get my hands on the Finding Swigglefish made by BANDAI - check out my video here. They are really cute, and would be a great addition to your kid's toy box. BANDAI is a reliable toy company. This toy is for children ages 4+.

These are not water toys. They're movable figures with moving parts. Each character has its own unique details. Destiny has a moving mouth and tail. Marlin's fins move, and his tail moves as well.

The Swigglefish can be played separately or you can purchase the playset, which is the Hank Trunk Playset - it is a truck with a fun ramp attached. The box truck opens, so the ramp can attach, and you can slide your Swigglefish down with ease. This set is really a toy that could be avoided, especially if you have boys. I can guarantee that most of you moms of boys have some kind of toy with a ramp, but it is well made and will stand the tests of rough toy players. I would also watch out for these moving parts that fall off, especially around siblings younger than four years old. Curious kids like to put things in their mouths. Just saying'!

My own complaint about the Swigglefish is the price tag - retail $6.99 - is a little pricey for my standards. A good starting price should have been $4.99 for a toy like this. The mechanics of the toy itself are unreliable - Destiny's tail always falls off, and Marlin has been fin-less many times. I find myself re-0attaching their parts a couple of times per day.

Let me know what you think of your Swigglefish!

Cheers!

Hallmark CUBEEZ

So...I decided to make the Cubeez Boogie its own little show. I don't know why. I just feel like it needed to be on its own. What do you think?

I have to say that I really love these Cubeez, and so does, M-Tubey. He wants to play with them all the time - he puts his small toys in there and "un-boxes" them and surprises himself. It's cute, and silly. He's cute and silly.

This youtube stuff is really hard. I feel like I have some momentum with views and subscribers, getting at least three or four per hour, then it just comes to a screeching halt. Obviously, the weekend garners more views, because I would all of the good little children would be applying their precious time at home with family, and studying - not going on YouTube. Alas, if they do, I wish they would come to my channel.

I have content, but not the right content. I feel like I am writing my college thesis paper all over again - 40+ pages on the content of a kids YouTube channel. I guess my college degree is good for something after all - I am writing my outline of shows on the back of it. No, I kid, I kid. I have a degree in sarcasm.

Well, if you're out there, give me a shout out, and let me know that I'm writing to someone and not just myself!

Enjoy the CUBEEZ BOOGIE DANCE!!! WOO HOO!

Toy Review: Hallmark Cubeez Storage Tins

We have a super size lot of #CUBEEZ to unbox! Watch and see what's surprises lurk inside!

M-Tubey LOVES CUBEEZ!* He watches the same Fizzy Toy Show episode with Miss Hands and Fizzy's CUBEEZ *every*single*day! I finally caved and bought some, and BOY, were they tough to find! We also have a lovely Soul Train-esque CUBEEZ BOOGIE dance to start off the show! ENJOY!

Cubeez are adorable storage tins, and they are sold by Hallmark. They feature various characters like The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Peanuts, The Muppets, and a bunch of Disney/Pixar characters. Each tin is sold for a whopping $6.95 to $9.95 per tin, and they are SUPER small! At only 3x3, the cube barely holds two stuffed tsum tsums. I scoured the internet to find them, because buying them in the store was out of the question - for the price, and the mere fact that there is no product out on the shelf -unless you want a $49.95 four pack of The Wizard of Oz. I found them on good old trust ebay, of course!

I hope you enjoy my video, and please like and subscribe to our channel!

Cheers!!

Toy Review: Popular Character Squishy Mashems and Fashems

This was a huge show! I stumbled upon an amazingly large amount of mash'ems and fash'ems at Target. I could never find these things - like ever. As I strolled with my empty cart to the grocery section, I found a cache of these coveted capsules hidden near the strollers! It was meant to be! I scooped them up like a hungry bird over a fish fulled lake. In my heart I knew that some very sad kid stowed these away after his or her mom said "NO!" to buying that many. Good thing my mom wasn't around, because she probably would have thought I was nuts!

I got my groceries, paid, and went home to marvel at my find!! I immediately got to it, started filming, and quickly realized that I had NO IDEA what these fash'ems and mash'ems were, especially the Littlest Pet Shop ones. I had some trouble with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Finding Dory, of course.

Anyway, the mash'ems and fash'ems do not come with any kind of checklist. You really have to be a diehard fan to know who you are getting. I found that a bit frustrated. The price tag at $2.99 retail, is a bit pricey for me, however, I could not resist based on its scarcity in the stores. I scored once on Hollar with a few My Little Pony fash'ems at about $2 per capsule, and I had a 25% off coupon plus free shipping. Sick deal!

Anyway, each capsule includes one figure based off the theme of the capsule. The figure is a rubbery, squishy, water-filled character that kids love to squish! Think of it as a very tiny stress ball. As a late 80's and 90's kid, I don't recall tiny toys like this. If there were toys like, we couldn't afford to buy them. I am jealous! Haha!

What do you think of the mash'ems and fash'ems?

Cheers!

DIY Play Doh and Cricut Machine Fun with PJ Masks!

Epic PJ Masks Play Doh Surprises!!!

I really cannot wait for the PJ Masks toys to come out already! When?! When will you arrive? If my logistics and production experience leads me down the right path, I am guessing September 2016. Fingers crossed!

This video was harder than I thought! The lighting is terrible, and the sound is terrible. I needed to put myself out there though with PJ Masks. It's a rat race out there, I tell ya!

Play-Doh is fun, and this video ruined it for me. I need better videos! I need more subscribers. I feel like I am alone in this big, wide world of YouTube where I feel like I am ahead of the game, but someone better is always out there and one step ahead.

Tough. Tough times.

Enjoy the PJ Masks Surprise Video!!

M-TUBEY EASTER SURPRISE EGGS Cute Silly Kid Video with Tsum Tsums Dory B...

M-Tubey, the mastermind behind Tubey Toys, is taking a crack at his own egg video! Isn't he cute?!

I finally posted his first egg video. This was supposed to be Tubey Toys' debut on youtube, but I didn't think it was good. Alas, I discovered it my google photos, and was amazed of how good the quality was - exceedingly better than what I get with my terrible lighting.

He really enjoys cracking open eggs, and he knows every single character! He's only two and knows more about Disney than me! We created a little Disney monster!!

Do your kids love surprise eggs? Is the sky blue?

Cheers!

Disney Pixar FINDING DORY Bath Toys + Swigglefish Marlin, Nemo, Destiny ...

Things on heating up on youtube! We gained three subscribers today, and are now featured on two channels! I even spied one of our Shopkins videos added to another channel's playlist! I sincerely hope things pick up soon! It is super disappointed to go from a multitude of action on the channel, all the way down to zero in just a day.

I need help on making our channel better! We need better lighting and sound. Our video equipment is okay, I just need to tweak it and not make videos at 3am. Natural daylight is my friend, but so hard to come by with a busy almost three year old, family obligations, taking care of the house, and work. Boo hoo! Cry me a river! Yes, I know! I get to play with toys in the middle of the night...I'll stop talking...check out this video.

The Finding Dory pull string bath toys are a bit lame. They rise to the top of the water and float like dead fish. Not very appealing to me, but our son loves them. They get the toddler seal of approval. Take a peek!

Cheers!

ANIME Yo-kai Watch Blind Bags Mystery Collector Pins FNAF Tubey Toys Kid...

Hey pals! I explored the world of Anime and the acclaimed game and show, Yo-Kai Watch.

Doesn't Yo-Kai Watch remind you of Pokemon? It's very Pokemon Snap-esque, Pokemon Snap was a game on the N64. I opened some Yo-Kai Watch collector trading pins. The pins themselves do not feel like metal, if they are metal, they're pretty flimsy. The enamel is nice though, and the paint was intact. The colors are vibrant for each character pin. There is a neat rubber backing reminiscent of Disney collector pins.

I purchased the pins at Target at $2.99 each. I honestly would not recommend these blind bags for a kid. There is no educational value. The pins are just a novelty, and can be traded or worn. The continued play value will not last on these things. Save the money for a figure.
