Toy Review: Disney Tsum Tsums Series 4 Color POP! Collection Vinyl Figures

Fall is upon us, and with the changing of the seasons, the toys are coming out faster than the leaves can turn to their beautiful golds, reds, and oranges. With color changes in mind, Jakks Pacific released Series 4 Disney Tsum Tsums Color Pop Collection! In addition to a regular Series 4 Tsum Tsum release, we now have the option to purchase a rainbow of colors of our favorite tsums. The new Color Pop Tsums have been released as the usual three pack that we all know and love in sizes small, medium, and large, and each package includes a varying Disney tsum tsum vinyl figure with a different color for each one. You will get three different colors, and three different tsums. I purchased these today (as of posting this blog and video), and the sticker price on the rack at Toys R Us said $5.49! That’s a .50 increase in price, but I reviewed my receipt at the time of writing this and I got them for $4.49 (with the 10% off sale). However, on the Toys R Us website, the tsum tsums 3-pack collection is on sale for $3 and change, so I will be going back with my receipt for a price adjustment - the savings is just too great to let it fall by the way side!

The new Jakks Pacific Color Pop Series 4 Disney Tsum Tsums are actually pretty awesome, but are they worth it to add to your collection? In reality, this is like starting a whole new tsum tsums collection. After careful consideration, I do feel that these will be an amazing addition to your, I’m sure, already growing tsum tsum vinyl collections. The colors released in the Color Pop collection are mainly primary colors and features a bright shade and light hue to offset it, and along with that there are the chances to get super ultra lucky tsums like monochrome Minnie Mouse and monochrome Mickey Mouse, as well as another super rare tsum, the elusive gold Stitch large tsum! I hope that I find at least one of them! According to tsumthing.com, the super ultra lucky tsums will most likely pop up in the most unexpected of places! But, where? I think possibly in a 9-pack or will they include the chance in a Tsum Tsum stack pack blind bag? We probably won’t know until October 2016. It’s so close, yet so far! 

The details for each tsum have stayed the same - the molds haven’t changed, it’s just the color of each tsum that have. Each tsum has one bright color and then accented with a lighter hue. For example, Lucky from 101 Dalmatians is a peachy overtone with highlights of a bright orange. Whereas, Thumper from Bambi is reversed, where his whole body is orange, and his accents are peachy. You may remember seeing these pops of color in your limited edition stack ’n display tsum tsum vinyl figure that was included in the set, and those have only been released in the large size vinyl tsum. There are varying colors now, where Mickey was the “gold” figure with his corresponding stack ’n display, and with three pack there is the chance to get a dull blue Mickey.

My overall review of these cuties is that they are cute - they are just super cute. Will I be running out and searching and going on toy hunts for them? Right now, no. I most likely will when I get the full story on how one of the more rare tsums can be obtained. For now, I am super happy with my mini collection. Although, I do need to still get Queen of Hearts, and Marie…well, let the hunt begin then!

The object of the game is to make sure Romeo doesn’t steal the toys from each PJ Masks player’s toy store! You study your shelf tiles in your store, and try and remember what you have in stock. Then you turn your boards over and go to the night phase. The night phase is when you put on your PJ Masks character mask. Before you put it on, choose three Romeo tiles, and guess with toy store has each toy. Disney Tsum Tsums Nightmare Before Christmas + Villains 100th Video! Tub...

Wow! We have uploaded our 100th video to our channel. I think, as a channel, that we have come far - our video quality is getting better, our sound is, um, eh, and quite possibly our content is getting stronger. Thank you to everyone who has subscribed to us, and continues to watch and comment, and just be really nice, we really hope that you’re feeling the love from us, because we’ve got nothing but love for you baby! 

We have had so MUCH FUN sharing our videos with you. We do get negative feedback, of course, but we get a lot of positive feedback, too, which helps outweigh the haters. Thank you for all of your criticisms - as long as its constructive, and not whiny - it’s accepted with open arms. 

This episode features a lot of Tsum Tsums, and much like our very first episode, we wanted to commemorate that first very intimidating feeling “on” camera with a more confidant comparison video—woo hoo for our 100th video!! We have the Nightmare Before Christmas Tsum Tsums Box Set, the almost complete Disney Villains collection (we’re missing Ursula - grumble, grumble), awesome Disney collectible Tsum Tsum mini vinyl figures to unbox (spoiler alert: we got the chaser!), and a Tsum Tsums figural keyring. 

The Nightmare Before Christmas box set features eight amazing and memorable characters from the film, and retails for a whopping $49.95 US! That is a huge chunk of change for some tsums. The box itself is actually quite nice. The matte varnish gives it a very soft finish, and the touch of spot UV in the Disney Tsum Tsums logo classes it up. The shape of the box is unique in that it has a skewed rectangular look - almost mimicking a coffin, to me though, I feel like it is mimicking a door or is just supposed to look weird, because the movie is kind of kooky - I love this movie, though! The tsum tsums included are Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, Dr. Finklestein, the Mayor, Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington as Sandy Claus, and Santa Claus. The Tsum Tsums are very cute, and well made, but my only complaint are the cheaper details on the Tsum Tsums - for the villains and the NBC box set. I feel like there shouldn’t be any type of vinyl on these cuties - they should be sewn on like the Oogie Boogie’s die detail. I love the way M-Tubey says, Oogie Boogie in the video! So cute!

The Disney Villains set is quite nice - there are eight to collect in all - Maleficent as the Dragon, Maleficent, The Evil Queen, Jafar as the Genie, Lady Tremaine, Cruella DeVille, and Dr. Facillier. My favorite is Cruella, because her “mink” coat is quite soft and lovely - I can sit and feel it all day. It’s really plush and well done. I think a far cry better than her original release. They nailed it. Jafar as the Genie was a bad choice in my book - I think they should have released it as Jafar himself. He was a lot more sinister than, but maybe they have other plans for his original self. We, unfortunately, did not receive Ursula in a our shipment. Disney will hear about this! I am upset as every single one of my shipments lately has either arrived damaged, or I am missing items. 

We also unbox these amazing Disney collectible vinyl figures, and this collection are Disney Favorites. There are six to collect in all, and you have the chance to get Marie, Stitch, Dumbo, Cheshire Cat, Lady, and a chaser figure. Well, we got the chaser mystery figure, and it is SUPER COOL! Watch and find out who we got. Retailing at $12.95, these babies are overpriced, but really cute. I got lucky and found them on clearance. I went to go and get more, and they were already sold out. Grumble again!

Lastly, we rip open a Disney Tsum Tsum figural keyring. M-Tubey really loves opening these guys, because of their YouTube notoriety. However, he is three years old, and doesn’t have any use for them, let alone a set of his own keys to attach them to. Silly kiddo! The figural keyrings range in retail price by store - usually $5.99 to $7.99. I think the price is ridiculous if you ask me, which is why I try to find them at Target to use my redbird and save 5%. I haven’t been very lucky though.

Toy Review: Fisher Price Shimmer & Shine Magical Wish Granting Bracelets!

We played with the new Fisher Price Shimmer & Shine Wish Granting Shimmer Bracelets in our show today! They are so much fun and so super cute! These bracelets are well made, and are the perfect addition to your little one's costume wardrobe. Press the faceted jeweled button on each bracelet and Shimmer will appear in bright lights and either sing a song from the show, speak a catchphrase, or a wish granting chime will sound off to let you know that your wish has been granted! On the other bracelet, Shimmer's trusty pet Tala makes an appearance too! 

Fisher Price is known for making well made toys, and this set is no exception. At a moderate price of $12.99, if you can find these bracelets, definitely pick a pair up! The success of the Shimmer and Shine really has boomed since its debut in 2015, so these are a great addition to your or your little Shimmer and Shine fan's collection.

Toy Review: Peppa Pig Peppa's Holiday Plane

Watch us unbox, discover, play, and thoroughly enjoy Peppa Pig's Holiday Plane! This is the US toy release, and manufactured by Jazwares. This plane differs a lot from the UK version- the hatch opens up differently, but the play is still fun filled!

The Peppa Pig's Holiday Plane is a lot of fun! The plane is set on wheels that turn with ease. With this set, you get to hear a bunch of fun phrases and songs specifically from the episode, "The Holiday," when the Pig crew set off for a fun filled vacation in Italy, where they dined on pizza, and sent a postcard to Peppa's fish, Goldie, who was fattened up by Granny Pig and Grandpa Pig while thePigs were away. There are three four hatches that open up: the roof, the airplane door, the cockpit door, and a storage area in the back for luggage. The airplane set comes with two figures: Mummy Pig (dressed in a flower print dress), and Peppa Pig wearing an airplane themed dress, and her vacation mode heart shaped sunglasses in a bright and happy yellow. You also get two pieces of luggage that are a one piece mold, and do not open and close. Who is flying the plane? Not Captain Emergency, that's for sure, which was a huge bummer for me! There is, however, Miss Rabbit molded permanently into the cockpit! How will she attend her 50 other jobs if she is stuck in that plane?! 

The play time is limited for this set, but that is only because it's a mode of transport, so Peppa and her pals can take their plane to the treehouse if they wish. This set will promote an array of imaginative scenes, and will further enlighten your child's playtime experiences. 

Watch as our son, discovers and oohs and ahhs over this amazing playset! Hours and hours of Peppa Pig and friends fun!

Today we play with the awesome Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends Mr. Freeze Gift Set featuring Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and The Dark Knight himself, Batman! This set is so awesome! This set is interactive and there are many different modes of play. There is an also a collectible factor as well, because this set is a Toys R Us Exclusive, meaning you will only find this set at that store. Pretty cool, huh?

To keep peace in Gotham, you'll need this set to finally put Mr. Freeze behind bars, uh, I mean, ice. You can launch an icy projectile with the touch of a button to knock out the baddies. Batman comes equipped with his ice resistant bat suit and an awesome snowmobile. There is a really cool spinning fan that rotates swiftly when you insert a figure. There is also a cell with a really cool translucent blue door, so the bad guys (or good guys) can see out outside. The colors are fun, and appeasing to the eyes. The Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends Mr. Freeze Gift Set is engaging and will promote exploratory play for your child; I think kids will enjoy this play set; we sure did!
