Toy Review & Video: Shnooks by Zuru! Open GIVE AWAY!

Zuru sent us an adorable new toy called, Shnooks! There are six Shnooks to collect in all - Snuggles, Sweetly, Shmiley, Shine, Shay, and Shazam! Shnooks are from the magical land called Shnook Brook! These adorable cuties will be your best friend and protect you, as well as, give your little one’s courage and strength! Each adorable Shnook has its own special traits that embodies goodness and strength like Sweetly is “always by your side,” and Shay gives you “courage and might!”

Shnooks are for ages 3 and up, and are available in the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand! They will be available in early December in the US - just in time for Christmas! These Shnooks are super special - the packaging is very deceiving, because it is flat, but once you pop the bubble, give your Shnook a shake, it transforms from a flat plush to a soft, cuddly plush doll! The Shnooks’ hair is super soft, and with each Shnook comes a styling comb, four surprise hair bands, and two barrettes or hair clips! I had so much fun styling their hair! You can also take your Shnooks with you any where you go or display them easily at home, because they have a handy ribbon loop hidden in their fluffy hairline.

Shnooks by Zuru retail for £8.99 in the UK. I do not have US pricing, but once I learn more about their availibility and pricing, I will update here!

Thank you so much to Zuru for gifting us our new adorable, magical friends to love forever!

Win your own Shnook by subscribing to Tubey Toys and Zuru, and leaving the comment "DONE" on our video! Give away ends November 9, 2017 at midnight EST! Good luck!

Toy Review and Video: Hamsters in a House Food Frenzy Collection of toys by Zuru!

Zuru sent us an amazing collection of Hamster in a House Food Frenzy toys! We got two hungry hamsters, Honey and Sundae! We also got a track pack, a Snack Shack with Nibbles the hungry hamster, Ham’s Burger Diner that came with Swirl the hungry hamster! All of the toys that we received are for ages four and up, perfect for our little guy to play with!

Watch these cuties buzz, scoot, scurry and zoom around the track! They can order their burger, drink, and fries at the rotating menu board, then scoot over to the rotating burger drive-thru! Your little can load up the burger, spin the top, and the hamster’s order slides down the slide into an adorable little trolley or cart! The hamster can then push his food order to the table to serve up to his other little hamster friends!

Overall, the Hamsters in a House line is perfect for a girl or boy! Our son had so much fun building the set and adding the tracks! This toy is great to fine tune your little one’s fine motor skills, as well as, incorporate hours of imaginative play!

Ham’s Burger Diner and all of the other cutie pie Hamster in a House accessories, hamsters, and tracks are available for purchase at Target and Toys R Us in North America. In Europe you can by them at Bart Smit and Intertoys. In Asia, you can purchase them at Aurora. In New Zealand, they are available at Farmers, K-Mart, and the The Warehouse. In Australia, they are for sale at Toys R Us! In the UK, so many stores carry them like Argos, Toys R Us, Smyths, Tesco, Toys R Us, B&M, The Entertainer, MORRISONS, ASDA, and Wilko!

Thank you so much Zuru!

Toy Review and Video: Disney Pixar Coco Skullectables Blind Bags with Figure Codes!

We were lucky to find the new Disney Pixar Coco Skullectables blind bags by Mattel today! We found them at Toys R Us, and they are for ages 3 and up! The figures we opened all had to be put together, so an adult should really help out a toddler if they want to open the blind bag. The cool thing about these skullectables is that completing your set will be fairly easy if you can locate all of the codes below. All of the codes are different, but may attention to the last letter - the different end letter starting from A and ending in L, so from A-L, that will determine which figure you will get -  there are 12 to collect in all. Follow our Instagram to stay tuned on how you can win a couple of Coco Skullectables blind bags!

The Disney Coco Skullectables figures are beautiful, colorful homage to the film and to the overall message of two different worlds colliding with the nether world and the living world! The collision of the living crossing over like Miguel Rivera’s character is really none other than what I have ever watched in a Disney film! This new Disney Pixar film, Coco, is going to be a true hit! Already we can see in the beautiful art of the sugar skulls we are looking at a film focusing on heritage and artistry!

Here are the codes below!

A: Miguel Rivera (Coco)
B: Miguel Rivera
C: Dante
D: Hector (Coco)
E: Ernesto de la Cruz (Coco)
F: Imelda
G: Dante the Dog (Coco)
H: Pepita
I: Chicharron
J: Ernesto de la Cruz
K: Abuelita
L: Emcee

Today we will unbox the Christmas tin full of holiday themed squishy tsum tsums, Mickey and Minnie as Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Donald and Goofy wearing winter gear, and Chip and Dale wearing Christmas sweaters! M-Tubey wanted to unbox the Disney squishy tsums by Zuru! For more information, go to www.zurutsumtsum.com.

We also will be unboxing Disney Tsum Tsum squishies 2-packs, series 5! The Disney Tsum Tsum squishies are not sold in the US, so receiving these tsums from the manufacturer themselves was a real treat! They are not as squishy as we thought, but they are very well made and the artwork and construction is fantastic! We were so impressed with Lightning McQueen; he is a tough tsum to create and he looked awesome! For Series 5, you can get ultra rare and rare glow in the dark tsum tsum squishies!

Thank you so much again Zuru toys! We loved everything, and are so happy to have been apart of your new toy launch!

Bring Your Baby to New York Comic-Con, It's Okay, I Promise! Pros and Cons

Our annual family tradition of going to New York Comic-Con was a partial success! Usually, I like to film our time there, but my phone broke and I lost all of my videos! This video is about the free stuff and purchased exclusives that we got at NYCC 2017!

Watch this video to find out the cool toys we got like the limited edition NYCC exclusive Slither.io set, and the chrome Black Panther Marvel Tsum Tsum, Nickelodeon kid robot, DC Imaginext, Jem, and Ducktales comic books, and more!! We also show some of the cool cosplay that we saw! Everyone is so creative and wonderful! Enjoy!

New York Comic-Con is always fun. This time was a bit tricky because we bit the bullet and brought our two-month-old baby! Why? Well, as parents, we love a challenge, and this was definitely a challenge. Plus, our four-year-old loves NYCC and we have to find ways to accommodate both children. With no one to watch our solely breastfed baby, we set out! Keep in mind, you cannot bring your children into any panels at New York Comic-Con.

First, do not be afraid to take your children to New York Comic Con! I researched a lot before going, and everything that I thought that I was doing right was actually the wrong way to do it - do not do what I did! Here are some tips below to make your Con experience a happy one for you, for your baby, for your family, and for the thousands of other NYCC goers! These are tips for parents who solely breastfeed. I can't speak for making bottles, etc, only because that will heavy your load, but you're going to bring a secret weapon that will aid you, so beautiful bottle-fed babies can enjoy, too!

Pack it up!
  • Bring a backpack with necessary baby essentials - two changes of clothes, diapers, an extra pacifier, wipes, and changing pad.
  • Bring your baby carrier - you may or may not wear your baby!
  • Bring your small stroller! Now, you're going to think I am nuts, and cosplayers are going to hate me, but a stroller is necessary to wheel around the baby! Your stroller will act as many things - a shield for your baby, a nuisance in the crowds, your shopping cart, and your changing table! If the baby is still in an infant car seat, keep him or her in it, but make sure you're not bringing the huge travel stroller with you! Strollers nowadays are so compact that I don't think you will have a problem! I just suggest you stay out of the high traffic areas. Many of the family-oriented booths were up at the front this year. Nickelodeon was in its normal area. Toys R Us made an appearance this year in the first row. Funko was in its usual spot.
Map it out!
  • The night before, map out your day. Do not use the app! The app is a nightmare (for me, at least), and will discourage you and confuse you. Go on a desktop computer and look at the map on the actual site. Then add your must do things to do the app. Like having a baby, a schedule is super important, and you will be conforming to your little one's schedule.
When to go!
  • We went on a Friday this time around - it was the busiest, crowded day ever! Never again! Sunday is a family day where kids five and over are $5, so that day would be easier! Plus, the stigma of a stroller really won't be frowned upon since the day is a family day!
If you follow these tips, you'll have an easy experience! Now, you do not have to use your stroller the whole day! I would suggest using it until you get on to the floor. Start your experience at the entrance, head to DC downstairs, Nickelodeon, etc., and then you can store your stroller in coat check - this was confirmed by Jacob Javits Center! Then you can wear your baby when walking the floor. Be prepared for many people to go gaga for your babe!

Toy Review & Video: Disney Tsum Tsum Series 8 Mystery Packs - is it over?

Series 8 Disney Tsum Tsum Mystery Packs have hit the shelves in Toys R Us, and we are SUPER excited! There are 10 to collect for this series, so it should be super easy for many to complete their sets. We were able to complete Series 8 mystery packs -FOR ONCE- on our video on our YouTube channel!

There are several new characters for series 8 are characters from Moana like  Hei Hei and Maui, from Aladdin Jasmine’s pet Rajah, Beauty and Beast’s Gaston, from A Bugs Life Flik and Heimlich, a variation of Jack Skellington as Santa Jack, Aristocats' Thomas O’Malley, The Lion King’s Rafiki, and Maleficent as the Dragon from Sleeping Beauty!

The 3-packs that are now called Tsumprise packs feature a cute balloon motif with two medium sized tsums and the chance to get one or two small sized tsums in the tsumprise pack. Stay tuned for the tsumprise packs in our next video.

I heard a strange rumor that Series 8 may be the last for the mystery packs. Is this true? Let me know in the comments below. Questions that I have sent to Jakks Pacific have gone unanswered.

Toy Review: Disney•Pixar Cars 3 Crunch & Crash Miss Fritter Vehicle Toy Review Tube...

We are huge Disney Pixar Cars fan in this house, and we're also fans of crashing our toys together - that being said, the Crunch & Crash Miss Fritter vehicle by Mattel does not disappoint! The details of this toy are just really cool! My four-year-old son loved crashing Miss Fritter and watching her back panel snap upon impact along with her eyes simultaneously closing creating an expression of delight! The front bumper pushes in to create this effect, and trust me you can crash this toy many times and never stop being surprised with the crunch! Another cool feature is the bus stop sign that pulls out, and it's in the shape of a saw!

=

If your kiddo is a Disney Pixar Cars fan, especially of Cars 3, he or she will appreciate Miss Fritter's details, because they are exactly like her character in the movie! Miss Fritter's vehicle itself is very durable, and will be able to withstand the crashing and crunching expressed by your little one. Miss Fritter's bull horns and menacing look didn't even scuff our molding, which is what I feared! The "spray paint" art work like the wrenches on the tires, and the number 58 on it's side panel look awesome, and are very realistic!

The Crunch & Crash Miss Fritter vehicle is also one piece, so it's great for on the go, and when your kiddo just needs to take a toy outside of the house. The doors do not open and close, so those waiting for the school bus will be safe in knowing that Miss Fritter will be crashing alone.

Overall, my four-year-old aspiring monster truck rally driver enjoyed the Miss Fritter vehicle so much! He had loads of fun making up a story with Miss Fritter and his other Disney Pixar cars vehicles! I’m on the hunt now for the two other vehicles in this collection, Disney Pixar Cars 3 Crunch & Crash Dr. Danger and Crunch & Crash Arvy!
