Spring is in the air, and Easter is coming, which only means that we have new Disney spring themed tsum tsum!
Out on the shelves now are new Disney Tsum Tsum that will be sure to get you in the spirit of spring.
At Target for $9.99, you can find a new exclusive 5-pack featuring Rabbit (who is new and doesn’t even have a regular tsum tsum vinyl), Judy Hopps (new for a color pop), Miss Rabbit, Thumper, and the White Rabbit all with all over sparkles and color pop colors! Grab them while you can, because they are HOT! I really think including Rabbit was a smart move! This vinyl will be highly sought out considering it doesn't even have a standard tsum tsum vinyl. The sparkle is perfection, no missing sparkles, and is all over the body and the cute little face. I am so happy to see color pop again, and color pop available at Target.
We also opened 15 Disney Tsum Tsum spring themed blind boxes, which include one of 12 adorable medium sized tsum tsum with adorable coordinating headbands. You can either get a tsum tsum with a rabbit headband, bumblebee wings, or butterfly wings. For $2.99, you really cannot beat the price. They come 24 in a case at Target and would be great Easter basket gifts! Some of the characters that you can get include Mickey, Minnie, Heimlich, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, and more. I really would have loved to see Goofy with a cute headband, but overall this collection is adorable! I do love that the surprise boxes are so colorful and feature a die-cut handle with two different characters featured on the side of the box.

The Zuru booth at NY Toy Fair 2018 was awesome! Zuru is known for high quality, innovative toys that get kids to get up, get outside, and play! From smashing their surprise toys open to developing keen hand eye coordination when attacking flying bugs, Zuru is there to make sure your kiddos are out and about.

Demo mode will allow you to make your own how to videos! Performance mode is great for the aspiring musical entertainer! Editing is easy with QR codes that will prompt your little creator to add special features, filters, special effects, and fun sounds! Don’t worry, your kiddo won’t be able to upload to social media without your permission. Available this summer 2018, so the kids will be YouTube stars before school begins! Recommended for ages six and up at $24.99. This toy is going to be a hit for sure!
New robotic pets are coming to the Robo Alive line! A creepy black spider joins the Robo Alive family, and if he’s anything like the other robo pets, you’ll be able to scare your arachnophobic friends with ease. At a great price point of $14.99, your little one ages four and up will enjoy this creepy bug this fall 2018! Dinosaurs are definitely a hot ticket item this year, so a robotic T-Rex is definitely going to be a hit with the kiddos. The Robotic Attacking T-Rex will run fast, roar, and chomp, but he still has short arms, though! At just $14.99, your dino-fan will have a roar-some time!
Bunch O Balloons is a staple at all of our summer parties. Marcello’s birthday is in August, and we have always used Bunch O Balloons at our parties. It keeps the kids cool, and we all have fun having a good old water balloon fight. The best part is the filling of the balloons, if you’ve never used Bunch O Balloons, the balloons literally fill a bunch at a time. Do not buy fakes! You will be disappointed. Not only does Bunch O Balloons come in a variety of colors, you can find them with Minions on them. New for summer, you will find Avengers Infinity War characters on Marvel theme balloons.
We loved Mayka toy block tape, because it made stop motion with our Lego mini figures so easy! In addition to the rainbow of colors already on the market, Zuru is releasing glow in the dark Mayka toy block tape. According to my tour guide, a lot of people though the glow in the dark tape was great to work with Star Wars mini figures, and I could not agree more. Road tape is also coming out, and this is necessary for our family! Now your streets will come to life with black top and lined Mayka toy block tape. There is also a Mayka toy block mat coming out this fall! The Mayka Glow in the Dark toy block tape comes in two meters at $9.99. The Mayka Road Tape is $12.99 and 1.2 meters long. Both will be available for fall. I will have more information about the mat soon, but it will be released in green and gray.
We unboxed 5 Surprise balls on our channel before. Now your little unboxer will have five segments of surprises. There are over 300 different toys for this line, so the chance to get a duplicate is really small! As parents, this is a great toy! I personally think the toys inside are very high quality. They are not junky little toys; they are well made charms, figures, putty, slime, and more!
Shnooks are new the US, and series one proved to be so super cute! I love how I can style their hair, and my son loves cute plush dolls. For Shnooks Series 2, now your Shnook will not only look adorable, it will have a sweet scent too!
Finally, Smashers was such a hit with us! Now, check out Smashers Series 2! Smashers Series 2 goes down the route of being totally gross, and totally acceptable by any four and up! Smashers Series 2 will hit stores this fall!
The Redwood Ventures booth at NY Toy Fair 2018 appeased four of my five senses! From squishies to holographic friends to frozen delights that smelled so yummy and delicious, by the time my tour was over, I was in a giddy mood and was totally hungry for cake and ice cream. In our sneak peek video are the color change Smooshy Mushy, more squishy Smooshy Mushy, and my favorite SeeMeez: new virtual pets for your iPhone or iPad.
There were so many squishy and smooshy delights in this booth that I wanted to squish everything! There are so many new additions to the Smooshy Mushy family it is seriously hard to keep up. I think I am off with the series numbers as Series 2 was Do-Dat Donuts, and Yolo Froyo may be series 3, so if I am, I apologize. Keep in mind all of this information could change. Check out that color change! I couldn't believe how squishy this Smooshy Mushy pet was after being frozen for so long! The color change is perfection!

Freeze your squishy Smooshy Mushy for two minutes, and you will get the most satisfying example of cold color change ever. Don’t worry Smooshy Mushy squad, your Smooshy Mushy are just as squishy when frozen. The Smooshy Mushy that I tested on my tour actually was in the freezer for several hours, and it still maintained its squish and its scent! The color change is perfection. Four new color changing pets will be chill additions to add to your growing slow rise squishy collection!
Yolo Froyo also will include a really fun play set featuring Sunny Side Cafe, where all of the Smooshy Mushy besties wreak havoc! You will also be able to get a Collector’s Fridge where you will be able to keep your Smooshy Mushy “fresh,” but make sure you keep that door closed, or they may run away! Just kidding! They won’t run away from you! You can store a lot of your squishies in there, though, and the style of the refrigerator is very cool and retro!

New York Toy Fair 2018 included a lot of toys that relied upon their player to get up and go, or brought more families together to gather around a board game - there was one "toy," however, that has struck a chord with me. In so much that I simply cannot stop thinking about it! The Redwood Ventures booth, the geniuses behind the widely popular Smooshy Mushy squishies, has introduced the coolest, the hippest, the most fun, and thought-provoking toy this toy season, SeeMeez. Not only do you get the element of surprise in a blind pack, but your SeeMeez virtual figure works like a modern-day Tamagotchi (nurture, love, care, clean up, feed, etc.). The best part, which could not be showed to me at the time of my tour - you can turn yourself into a virtual character, and send a holographic video message to your friends!
The image mirrors itself off of the triangle prism piece, and bounces the light to create a holographic image.
The graphics, if you will, were not cheesy at all! It really looks like there is a little character just hanging out outside of your phone screen! The cool part is that you can purchase one of two sizes - each size will fit either to your mobile phone or your tablet or ipad screen. Using the SeeMeez app, you will unlock your surprise, and you will be able to share with a friend! Technically, you get two SeeMeez characters for the price of one, but the fun is in the sharing part. You and your friend will be swapping holographic videos for hours. To clarify, you get a flattened prism piece that you simply will assemble, a black backer board that acts as a square tent around your phone to block out any light, and access to the app. This app is not a free-mium app, which means you have to buy digital items along the way. You just buy your SeeMeez, and that is it -- the app is free and will be staying that way. The digital character is a cute, futuristic creature that relies on your for love! I really, really hope to see some digital poop stinking up my phone! Only time will tell.

New York Toy Fair was a buzz for new toys, especially the tactile favorites like Orbeez. Maya Toys are the brains behind the wonderfully sensory enhancing world of Orbeez, and all things crafty and fun! There was a bunch of fun and exciting toys that will be released in spring 2018, and later this year! Take a peek below, and please also check out our video tour of the booth where you get a better idea of how a lot of these amazing products by Maya Toys work! I know Orbeez too well. My wonderful, amazing nephew has sensory processing disorder, and playing with Orbeez really fulfills his need to touch, squeeze, and squish. He also loves to open surprise toys! Now, with the redesigned Orbeez bottles, you get a colorful cap with a fun surprise under the cap, and when you pour out your Orbeez, a picture is revealed inside the bottle! I know he's going to drive my sister mad for these!

My hands would love some much need R&R after a long day of taking care of an active pre-schooler, and an even more curious six month old baby! Orbeez will also be introducing more softer colors like pastels to really calm the mood for that ultimate spa day!
They have also reimagined the foot spa, it looks more bubbly, it has the same soothing and euphoric mechanics, but now it is hot pink and coordinates beautifully with the hand spa. You also get a bonus of toe separators, decals, and nail polish! The foot spa is the cost of a nice pedicure or two at $34.99, which is a great price point for a gift for yourself or your Orbeez lovin' little one!
This next bit is extremely exciting! We love Orbeez, we love surprise toys - well they love each other, too, and they made a beautiful baby called Orbeez Wow World Surprise. Step inside the world of these sweet, mythical creatures where each figure has its own story. Each story unfolds within the realm of Orbeez World for each character - there is a chance to get a common character or a limited edition character - an idea of some characters and their stories can be see in the photo below. The figures are colorful, and the whole idea is a lot of fun, because they each have their own unique story. Coming August 2018 at $4.99, these surprise globes will be the talk of the town when school starts!
Each globe comes wrapped in a fun and colorful plastic, and once unwrapped you will find a clear globe filled with clear Orbeez! All you need to is take off the top for the spout, and slowly fill it with water to reveal your new little mystical friend. You can choose to remove your clear Orbeez, and use the globe as a unique stand for your new friend. Or you can continue the surprise wow factor again and again!
Just in time for the holidays, series 2 will hit stores with an arctic theme called, Polar Magic. The release date is slated for the end of the 2018, and will possibly be the same price point as series one.
Cutie Stix Cut and Create Station - released August 2017
Cutie Stix was a surprise for me in the Maya Toys booth! I loved making jewelry and crafting when I was younger, so these really should have been on my radar! If you're not familiar with Cutie Stix, they are a fun and customizable line of toys that will give your little crafter the feeling of creating something from start to finish. Originally you needed the Cutie Stix Cut and Create Station to create, but Maya Toys has made the process a bit easier. The Cut and Create Station included a cutter, cutie stix, thread, and more. Now the process is a bit faster and you won't need the Cutie Stix charm maker if you want to just create on the go. Instead of cutting, each charm stick is already perforated, so so you can pull apart and create! You will also get enough to make one for a friend! These will actually be released on Friendship Day, August 5!

Maya Toys has also introduced the Cutie Collectible Bracelets, which is a blind bag that will include everything that you would need to create your own bracelet! You won't even need the cutter, because each cutie stick is already pre-cut into easy to pull apart segments. For the enthusiastic crafter, Maya Toys also introduced at NY Toy Fair the Cutie Stix Jewelry Maker, which is a cutter and includes everything you will need to create necklaces, bracelets, and more! There are also refill packs that can be purchased with three new styles to choose from -- Furry Pals, Tropical Days, and Furry Cuties!

Finally, Maya Toys also debuted two new, fun and exciting toys for your little ones! The Frying Flying Donut game, and Monkey Trix! The Frying Flying Donut game will be a blast for pre-schoolers, I know my son already wants to play with it! The object of the game is to be the first player to get their donut into the fryer. You have to use your fine motor skills, and cat like reflexes to get the donut on to the fryer stick. It is for ages four and up, and will be $19.99 with an August release date. Monkey Trix is a head to head game where you have to build your blocks just like the card that is pulled, but you have to use monkey hands to do it! This game will home your little one's fine motor skills! To make the game a bit harder, test their memory by giving them the opportunity to look at the card one time.
I really loved the Maya Toys booth. Not one item required the use of an ipad or other mobile device. They really have created a line of toys that supports education and creativity! As a mom, I love that!
Zuru is the fastest growing toy company with their classic Bunch o Balloons, RoboAlive, X-Shot, our favorite squishy Tsum Tsum, and more! The Zuru booth at New York Toy Fair 2018 was full of old and new, they upped the ante with the new RoboAlive robotic pets, added a yummy scent to their widely popular Shnooks, and without saying too much, will be introducing new lines to cater to kids' building needs and a parents' storage woes. You've gotta love Zuru for that - they care about their customer and they actually care about that product after it leaves the store shelf. Earlier this year, they also introduced a new line of surprise toys called Smashers! We were fortunate to unbox a few on our YouTube channel! Series 1 was released with a smash!
