Post and Video: Tsum Tsum Sub Box January 2018 RUMORS of Last Subscription & SPOILERS!

There have been some rumors flying around that the Disney Tsum Tsum Subscription Box is ending this cycle. I tried to get some evidence from a Disney Cast Member, and they said that the sub box was not due to end. I don’t know what to believe! For now, let’s just chalk this up as a rumor, and hope that in February 2018, we will still be getting our precious Tsum Tsum Sub box from the Disney Store. 

I have only seen evidence one person getting an e-mail that the sub box will be the last for January 2018. What do you think? I decided to ask Disney myself and started a friendly chat with a cast member. As I guessed, he really couldn't answer my question as I would imagine that this service is outsourced to another company. Wow, that was a mouthful.

Last year, the Disney Store did this, too! I think it helps weed out the old members, and gives new members a chance to subscribe to the monthly box set  where you get the chance to get micro tsums, gift sets, and limited edition tsum tsums from  your favorite films like Wreck-It Ralph. Peter Pan, and more!

January 2018’s Tsum Tsum Subscription Box will not disappoint! They really did go out with a bang if this is indeed the last tsum tsum sub box. Watch the video to see who we got!

****SPOILER ALERT****

Let’s get down to business! January 2018 Tsum Tsum sub box were characters from Disney’s Mulan: featuring Mulan, Mushu, Ling, Chien-Po, Shang, and Yao. Yao was my favorite character in Mulan! Mushu is adorable, but they could have done a bit better with his dragon snout! How is he going to spit fire with that?

I really hope that the Tsum Tsum Subscription Box is not ending, and if it does end, I hope we get to order soon! I am sure they will be raising the price, however, I think it should stay the same. My sub box always arrives like the very end of the month, when I have seen other friends receive theirs between the 15th to 20th of each month. 

The current price is justified, though, because the overall quality is fantastic! My favorites from the sub box series were the Peter Pan micro tsums of The Lost Boys, and the Wreck-It Ralph Set! The Wreck-It Ralph set was just awesome!

We open the new Disney Star Wars Mash’ems by Basic Fun Toys!  There are six to collect in all! You can get Darth Vader, Yoda, R2-D2, C3PO, Boba Fett, and a Stormtrooper! 

I would have loved to see Luke Skywalker, Chewy, Han Solo, and Princess Leia, but maybe they will come out with them for Series 2.

Video and Toy Review: Slitherio Fidget Spinner Magics Slitherio Minis Squishy Surprises! Bonke...

We love the new slither.io minis by Bonkers Toys! There are 15 awesome slither.io minis to collect! These minis are great for sensory play. The overall quality of the product is fantastic! The packaging is fun. I am always impressed with Bonkers Toys products. Their build a slither line is fantastic, too. Check for a video review of that on our channel as well!

M-Tubey was especially silly in this video! This is definitely not one to miss! Let us know if our slither.io fidget spinner should spin more surprises! Post: NEW Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom Toys at Target!

Target has had exclusive rights to Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Toys for a full season now, and now they’re coming out with even more toys! 

Sometimes I wish that we lived across the pond just so that we could have access to buy the many amazing Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Toys available for sale. Thankfully, Target and Walmart sell Peppa Pig, because that exchange rate and shipping to the US was just too much!

Target released more “little” vehicles to their Peppa Pig line; made my Jazwares, for $11.99 you can get one figure and their vehicle in “little” form. I’ve always purchased last year the Daddy Pig and the “Little Camper Van” from Walmart. Now you can get the “Little Helicopter” with Miss Rabbit dressed as a pilot, Granddad Dog with his “Little Tow Truck,” Peppa wearing heart-shaped sunglasses and the “Little Red Car”, Mr. Bull with the “Little Taxi Cab,” and Daddy pug wearing his holiday attire with the “Little Blue Car” for the Italian holiday episode, and of course, the “Little Camper Van” with Peppa is included in this collection. These are well made vehicles and they’re the perfect size for storage and will fit two figures inside comfortably! 

If your little piggy got the new and improved Peppa Pig home with lights and sounds for Christmas, and found that you were missing some furniture, you were right! We now have small dioramas available with two figures each, a light up a piece of furniture, and an accurate play scene from the show. There are four play scenes available: Peppa and Granny Pig with the record player from the cleaning the attic episode, Daddy Pig and Peppa cooking in the kitchen with a light stove and a stack of yummy pancakes, Mummy Pig and Peppa having a movie night with a “working” telly, and finally, Peppa and Suzy playing in Peppa’s room and it comes with the toy box that the mailman had to put together, a miniature doll house, and a basket full of toys! Each scene is $9.99 and is a really great deal as you get two figures and a bunch of accessories! I really like that they added in some lights, which was a nice touch to add to your “smart” Peppa Pig home. 

In more toy news featuring our other favorite Brit show, from Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, there are a few new toys that are sold exclusively at Target. 

For $19.99, you’ll be able to own your very own Magical Toadstool complete with a real, working door that has a magical surprise, figures Ben and Holly, and a frog and rabbit! From the first season, you may recall Ben was turned into a frog and Holly turned into a rabbit. What a great deal! 

Magic always leads to trouble! Be careful with Holly’s magical wand that changes expressions with the flip of your wrist. Press the button and hear magical sounds and a familiar voice beckoning you to practice magic! For $9.99, this is a steal!

Back to Peppa, and finally, a surprise of sorts for your wee ones! Wait a week to announce your next holiday with this awesome surprise countdown “calendar!” There are seven days of surprises and each cubby holds a new surprise inside. Your little piggies will love counting down the days of your vacation. For $12.99, this is a wonderful deal!! The best part is that you can take these cuties with you and have a complete set of figures and accessories to play with while traveling to your destination.

Post: Series 2 Funko Disney Pint Size Heroes Coming March 2018!

This March marks the coming of series 2 of Funko’s Pint Size Heroes featuring characters from favorite Disney/Pixar films! 

Wave one of this series was totally awesome! They remind me of a smaller version of Dorbz at about 1.5 inches in size, these small figures carry a lot of punch! As far as bang for your buck, some people may shy away, but if you like Funko and the blind bags, then these are the ones for you! 

If you’ve never seen them before, Pint Size Heroes by Funko are blind bags that include the chance of getting of one 14 figures. However, certain stores will have exclusive figures available. 

I love that they are including some characters from Ducktales, but you only get the chance to pull Webbigail and Dewey. There are four characters from

Disney’s classic, Peter Pan, which is totally awesome! Tick Tock and Hook are musts for me. 

At Hot Topic, there are three exclusives: Lilo, Stitch, and Scrump. 

At Toys R Us, you have the chance to get the regular characters in the series or their exclusives armor Baymax, Baymax, or Super Hiro! 

Find them at your favorite toy store this spring. With my luck, I'll find them at the beginning of the summer.

Post: New Tsum Tsum Blind Boxes for Easter 2018! Coming soon!

Perusing my insta feed, I stumbled upon Nevaeh.sprinklesoffun’s post about the upcoming Easter Tsum Tsum vinyl figures coming out for spring! See photo below! Credit to nevaeh.sprinklesoffun and @disneytsum. 

Look how cute! There are 12 Easter themed blind boxes, similar to the ones found at Target for Christmastime. The Christmas blind boxes were $2.99. I am going to guess that the Easter Tsum Tsum blind boxes will be a bit more because it seems each Tsum Tsum has their own cutesy headband! My guess would be $3.99, which is still a great deal! 

Here’s what each Tsum Tsum looks like they are wearing. 

Daisy: white bunny

Dale: honey bee

Heimlich: blue butterfly- it looks translucent. How appropriate!

Pluto: yellow bunny

We’re walking down memory lane in the new collection by Funko featuring our favorite characters from the two hour block of must see TV: The Disney Afternoon! The Disney Afternoon that featured the shows DuckTales, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers now have their own Funko Mystery Minis! There are a variety of exclusives from different stores! The ones we have to open today are from Toys R Us - there are three exclusives from Toys R Us: Negaduck, Shere Khan, and Louie. There are 12 figures to collect in the regular assortment. Out of the 12 that you can get from the regular assortment are Launchpad McQuack, Darkwing Duck, Monterey Jack, Gosselin, and more! No Scrooge McDuck though? Whaaaat?? Today we are unboxing Toys R Us Exclusives and Game Stop Exclusives! 

Hot Topic has a great selection of exclusives like Scrooge McDuck in his precious pile of gold, Negatron, and Magica DeSpell! Game Stop has the exclusive Junior Woodchucks Huey, Duey, and Louie! 

The figures range in price from as low at $5.95 to $7.99! These are a must have for any 90’s fan and anyone seeking some nostalgia from their childhood. I am loving the Disney Afternoon Funko Mystery Minis - they are all well made, and are not falling apart like they usually do when you open them. A+ in construction and cuteness! 

Rant: Dumbo needs a reboot! Ideas for a Dumbo Tsum Tsum mystery stack pack redo!

When we first started collecting Disney Tsum Tsum, the blind bags and three packs were so much easier to locate! As the Jakks Pacific and Disney got more and more creative with each wave, blind bags and packs are harder and harder to find.  There has always been one tsum tsum vinyl that has bothered me. I think about it incessantly - I harp on things way too much - but this has been on my mind for a coupe of years now (ears, even). 

Let's take a look back at Tsum Tsum Series One and discuss why we need a reboot of just one figure, the beloved elephant with big ears, Dumbo Jumbo.

Disney Tsum Tsum Mystery Stack Packs (yes, they used to be called stack packs, in case you’re new to tsum tsum vinyl collecting), was pretty tight - there is the super hard to find  Dale with his acorns, Minnie Mouse with her signature polka dot bow, Stitch riding his spaceship. Winnie the Pooh relaxing [trapped] inside of a honey pot, Sebastian in a beautifully decorated shell, Marie resting in an intricate canopy bed, Buzz Lightyear in his spaceship, Figaro hanging out with Cleo on top of her fish bowl, Cheshire Cat hanging out in his tree (very clever that one), Lucky sitting atop a TV (watching Thunderbolt, I’m sure), and last, but not least, Dumbo … with a camera? What?! A camera? I understand that the camera represents the tsum tsum shorts, but these figures have morphed into Disney film icons, and Dumbo definitely needs a relaunch! 

I would love to see Dumbo inside of a circus train car, or on top of a festive round circus stand with a flag, or even Dumbo as the clown escaping the fiery building! The Dumbo and his camera is significant to the shorts on the Disney channel/Disney Junior. How about Dumbo as his iconic ride, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and Disneyland? Or possibly consider, a set with Dumbo and Timothy the Mouse, and add in Mrs. Jumbo, too! Poor Dumbo!

However, I do appreciate the addition of the feature headband accessory for Dumbo in Series 9! That was a very nice touch! 

Please! Dumbo needs a reboot!

The Dreamworks Trolls Podular Play Set made by Hasbro is for ages four and up, and features a bunch of cool things that’ll make your kid’s hair stand up! The play set comes with one troll, Princess Poppy!  If you have other Dreamworks Trolls figures, they will be able to come over and play! They can stand up easily with the pegs throughout the set, and you can easily place your troll friend on top. There are different pods that can be interchanged in the play set, so your trolls can hang out. This set is colorful, engaging, and doesn’t require any batteries, which is a huge plus!
