Disney Board Games Review! Disney Themed Family Game Night with Disney Themed Cupcakes

Share the magic of Disney with your family while playing two explosively fun games by Playmonster, 5 Second Rule Disney Edition and Ring it On! Disney Edition! Add these fun Disney games to your family game rotation!

With the 50th Anniversary Celebration at Walt Disney World in full swing, it is only fitting to have your own celebration at home with a fun family game night. Jazz it up with Mickey ears, and some Disney-Pixar themed cupcakes for a sweet touch. The kids helped with decorating, so it was a full family affair. More on how we decorated the cupcakes can be found here.

We were sent Playmonster's 5 Second Rule Disney Edition and Ring it On! Disney Edition for free to review. All opinions are my own. There are affiliate links throughout this post, so please feel free to click through at no extra cost to you!

The first game we played was 5 Second Rule Disney Edition, and this game delivers on the fun and will test your Disney knowledge.

We love everything Disney, and we thought we were Disney experts, but when you're pressured to do it quickly the results can be quite comical. We were answering questions in the wackiest of ways. Included in the game are clean Mickey themed pawns, a fun 5-second timer, a Disney themed game board, and a bunch of trivia cards. The game is for kids ages six and up, but our four year old joined in on the fun. You can adjust the rules for newer Disney fans, instead of naming three answers, they can name two answers. The game is fast paced, and you're expected to rapidly spit out your Disney answers in five seconds or less. Trust me, it can be done! We had a blast playing, and 5 Second Rule Disney Edition has now been added to our Friday night Family Game Night! You can find 5 Second Rule Disney Edition at Walmart and on Amazon for $24.99.

For a family with smaller children, combine a little bit of Memory game play with some Go-Fish along with the magic of Disney, and you have a fun fast-paced board game, Ring it On Disney Edition

The race to ring the bell!!

We play Memory every single day, because our four year old son loves to match cards. Playing Ring it On! Disney Edition was a nice change of pace, and it shares the same components of Memory, so the whole family can enjoy it - plus it's easy for little ones to understand the rules.

The object of the game is to get four of a kind sets of beloved Disney and Pixar characters like Moana, Tiana, Woody, Mike Wazowski, and more! I think my kids' favorite part of the game was the Disney themed bell to ring each time you make a matched deck. My four year old joined in on the fun with a minimal help from me. Ring it On Disney is for kids ages six and up, and is available at Meijer and Amazon for $14.99.

For fast paced fun, a dose of Disney magic; add these Disney themed board games by Playmonster to your gaming cabinet now! I am bringing 5 Second Rule Disney Edition on our road trip down to Florida this year, so we can play in the car. You can ditch the five-second time, and just read off the Disney trivia to help pass the time in the car.
