The Ringmasters Return: Universal Orlando Announces Halloween Horror Nights 35 Theme and Icons!

The Ringmasters Return: Universal Orlando Announces Halloween Horror Nights 35 Theme and Icons!

Get ready, haunt fans—the granddaddy of them all is turning 35, and it’s going to be absolutely legendary. Scaring UOR attendees for 35 years, fans will be excited to happy to learn that the event runs from August 28, 2026 - November 1, 2026.

Universal Orlando Resort has officially pulled back the curtain on Halloween Horror Nights 2026 (HHN 35), and the theme is a twisted tribute to the event's dark history. This fall, Universal Studios Florida will be transformed into the “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” a decrepit, fear-fueled midway where your deepest fears come to life.

If you’ve been waiting for the ultimate crossover in horror history, your prayers (or nightmares) have been answered.

Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow: A Sinister Alliance

For the first time ever, the two most notorious icons in HHN history are sharing the spotlight. Jack the Clown and his legendary rival, Dr. Oddfellow, are back to act as the dual ringmasters for the 35th-anniversary celebration.

The theme of the year? "A fear divided is a fear diluted." After decades of rivalry, these two masters of mayhem are joining forces to unleash a level of terror that Orlando has never seen before.

New Haunted House Revealed: “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control”

The first original haunted house for HHN 35 has been announced, and it’s a deep dive into the lore of the icons. In “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control,” guests will step into the unsettling origins of the blood-soaked rivalry between Jack and Oddfellow.

Expect a journey where chaos and control collide. According to Universal, the house will follow the icons as they battle for dominance before realizing that to obtain ultimate power, they must stop fighting each other and start fighting you.

What to Expect at Halloween Horror Nights 35

While we are still waiting on the full reveal of the HHN 2026 lineup, we know that the "Infernal Carnival of Nightmares" will feature:

  • 10 All-New Haunted Houses: A mix of original stories and the biggest names in horror movies and pop culture.

  • Terrifying Scare Zones: Immersive environments where there is nowhere to hide.

  • Outrageous Live Entertainment: High-energy shows that redefine Halloween entertainment.

  • Themed Food and Drinks: Exclusive "scare-y" treats and specialty cocktails.

Get the Gear: HHN 2026 Merchandise

Can’t wait until the fall? You don’t have to. The first drop of the Halloween Horror Nights 2026 merchandise collection is available right now. You can grab limited-edition apparel featuring Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow at select retail locations in Universal Studios Florida or online at ShopUniversal.com.

HHN 2026 Tickets and Dates

Universal has teased that Halloween Horror Nights 35 tickets are on sale now. This is a milestone year, and with Jack and Oddfellow teaming up, nights are expected to sell out fast.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025 Date Forecast & Tips Tricks To Make Your Night Unforgettable!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party has not been announced yet for 2025. Disney Parks will make an official announcement during their Halfway to Halloween event where the MNSSHP dates are announced, and spooky merchandise and Halloween-themed treats are sneak peeked as well. Watch the Disney Parks social channels, or check back here during April 30th to May 1st.

We are now officially halfway to Halloween, but Disney Parks hasn't said BOO about it! What gives?

In anticipation of our August 2025 trip, I cannot help but plang our vacation, and that includes a piping hot visit to Magic Kingdom during the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Every hot and sweaty trip to Florida in August requires a ticket to Disney's famed Halloween party, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! Any semblance of spooky hints from the Disney Parks social pages is nowhere to be seen. All of my plans could be thwarted as I made the unwise decision to book a trip to Walt Disney World for the second week of August with the hopes and prayers that the MNSSHP will debut August 8, 2025.

To make an educated guess for the first date of the party and ensure my family and I can attend, I have included MNSSHP from the past below. An analysis of the last three years confirms that the party will always start on the second Friday of August, but could that change this year? Is Disney delaying the party announcement because of a calendar overhaul? The only differences through the years were a November 1 addition in 2023 plus the removal of November 1 in 2024, and the shift from Monday to Tuesday parties in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Dates from 2022, 2023, and 2024

2022 MNSSHP:

  • August: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30

  • September: 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 30

  • October: 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

2023 MNSSHP:

  • August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29

  • September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29

  • October: 1, 3, 5, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31

  • November 1

2024 MNSSHP:

  • August: 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30

  • September: 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29

  • October: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

Fast forward, the tickets are announced, and went on sale. What now?

After you buy tickets, now you have a countdown for a spookily spectacular night!

Do you need some tips to make your experience at the Party enjoyable? I have been to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party four times with just my family of four, and then once with a party of 18, so you are in good hands!

Tip #1

Choose your costume.

It's hot during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Well, it's pretty hot in Florida most of the time, but for some meteorological reason, it is extra wet and sticky during the party, so choose your costume wisely. You can be anything you want, but you just have to adhere to the dress code. For more info, check out the official website for more info.

We have dressed up in the past, but on our last trip we just wore Halloween shirts. I think it is too hot to go full Halloween costume. However, some fans go full throttle, and I love that for them. This year we are thinking of Disney bounding as our favorite Phineas and Ferb characters. Stay tuned!

Tip #2

Gather your supplies!

MNSSHP has free trick or treating! I suggest you bring an extra bag or two so you can trick or treat in style. I would also recommend getting a few extra supplies for the little ones to help make the night festive. I like to get glow stick bracelets, light up necklaces, Mickey Mouse bubble blowers, off brand Mickey Mouse Halloween ears, and other fun things that give the parades extra oomph! You can find a lot of these offerings at the Dollar Tree too!

Tip #3

Arrive to Magic Kingdom early.

The party usually starts at 7:30, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy Magic Kingdom before the party officially begins. With your ticket, you can enter Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM. In recent years, parties at Magic Kingdom have been pretty packed, so entering the park creates a huge line. The line does not move fast, I know this from experience. Even if you have a Park Hopper for the the day of the party, you're still going to miss out on walking through the separate entrance. Entering in with the Party crowd is a small price to pay for getting to enjoy the park for a full 3.5 hours. Plus, you'll be entering with at least half of the crew you will be with the whole night, so get to know your peers while you wait!

I would recommend that you arrive to Magic Kingdom at 3:3 PM, and get cozy in a spot. This year we will not have Park Hoppers, so I plan to divide and conquer. My husband or I will wait in line, so our kids don't have to deal with the heat. I don't want to put them through extra stress. If you could split up so someone stays with the little ones, then work that out with your group.

Reveal! Disney 100th Anniversary Merchandise Featuring Disney 100 LEGO, Tsum Tsum, Collectible Figures, a Disney Exhibit, and more!

With Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration, all of Disney properties are gearing up for Disney's 100th Anniversary. Sharing the Wonder, is the tag line, and I have to agree, all of Disney is WONDERful! In addition to Disney Parks anniversary celebrations, there are a bunch of collectibles hitting the shelves now to fill our toy shelves. Here are my favorites so far! Comment below what you want to add to your collection.

Released February 1, 2023 - LEGO Brickheadz

Disney 100th Anniversary LEGO sets are starting to roll out February 1, 2023 and beyond. Us Disney fanatics and fans of LEGO are truly in for some magic.

Let's start with Brickheadz, but there are many rumored LEGO builds concerning various IPs, like Pixar will be released -- think a Disney Pixar Up build.

Expect to see packaging featuring the new Disney 100 logo - fairy dust and sparkles!

Disney LEGO Brickheads 100th Celebration #40622 - $39.99 Available now on LEGO.com This set features four iconic characters highlighting the start of The Walt Disney Company with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit introduced in 1927 with the short Trolley Troubles, Steamboat Willie is the introduction of Mickey Mouse in 1928 with the short Steamboat Willie, Snow White was the first Disney Princess from the first ever animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and finally the spokesmodel, Tinkerbell who gives magic to the Disney castle and was introduced in Disney Peter Pan. This release marks historical moments in the Disney timeline, so they are must have additions to your collection!

Check out some more Disney LEGO Brickheadz featuring new Disney characters below.

Be on the lookout for the following new Disney LEGO Brickheadz that are confirmed to be released March 1, 2023!

Photo via LEGO's Instagram

Back in January, LEGO hinted at a Disney LEGO Minifigure release with their teaser photo on their Instagram. It is rumored that this release will consist of 18 Disney LEGO Minifigures including classic and modern Disney characters like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Sorcerer Mickey with bucket and mop (you may have these pieces if you own the LEGO Disney Castle), Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio, Stitch, Queen of Hearts, Prince John, Robin Hood, Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil, Ernesto de la Cruz, Miguel, Baymax, Princess Tiana, Dr. Facilier, Mulan, Pocahantas, and Princess Aurora. I could be wrong - I pulled this list from a site that I often read, The Brick Fan, go and check it out.

If the Disney LEGO Minifigure release for the 100th Anniversary is true, then we are in for a treat! There is a great mix of villains like Cruella and Evil Queen! I am very excited to have Princess Aurora, but I wish they would release a Chase variant of Aurora wearing her blue dress. This release of the minifigures should be in April or May 2023. Stay tuned here for more news!

Disney 100th Celebration also involves an in-person exhibit that will tour Philadelphia, PA, Munich, Germany, and London, England.

The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA is hosting Disney 100: The Exhibition. This exhibition will have over 250 artifacts consisting of Disney memorabilia, costumes, props, and more! There will also be 10 themed galleries celebrating Disney's earliest works from the widely celebration Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Disney's latest film, Strange World. Plus, you get to see various intellectual properties like Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic. I am not sure about Star Wars, but we will see! The exhibit opens February 18, 2023. Tickets are on sale now

Disney collectibles will be aplenty celebrating the 100th Anniversary, but this Disney 100 Surprise Capsule truly takes the celebratory cake to the next level!

Each capsule includes multiple layers to reveal the mystery figure!

I don't think anyone could have imagined a set like this, but here we are! LEGO announced their latest set LEGO Home Alone McCallister Family. This iconic Illinois house echoes memories of "We slept in!," and "You're sleeping in the attic." .... "With me." When I was a kid, Home Alone was the ultimate revenge film against the bad guys.

Now that I am a parent, I can understand the fear of Kate McCallister, and her determination to take a plane and then hitch a ride with a polka band during a snow storm to get back to her son. The McCallister family is just full of kids, and I find it oddly relatable to actually overlook a child being present. All in all, the film Home Alone is iconic and sewn in the fabric of my childhood and the childhood of many other '80s and '90s kids; it is totally worthy to be in LEGO brick form.

The LEGO® Ideas Home Alone set was designed by Ukraine-based LEGO fan Alex Storozhuk. In addition to the house, the set includes a LEGO minifigure version of the Home Alone icon, Kevin McCallister plus four other minifigure characters from the movie: small town crooks Harry and Marv, Kevin's mom Kate and the creepy old neighbor/hero, Marley.

The set includes several distinct rooms noting key features from the film that all fans will love! Enjoy multiple levels of play and payback where Kevin's booby traps span from basement to even the attic! At an impressive 3,957 pieces, the LEGO Ideas Home Alone set now sits as the largest ever LEGO Ideas set.
